The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program is a non-profit (501c3) organization that pairs-up high achieving (honor) college students with Corporate Executives, Business Executives, Civic Leaders and Corporate Management Role Models- designed to encourage a healthy exchange of ideas, viewpoints and productive (mentor/ protégé) interaction that will prepare college students to succeed in the corporate workforce and business climate. 

 

In addition, The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program conducts and facilitates Comprehensive Cultural Competence (educational) training, workshops and seminars for college student (protégé) members in a proactive effort to instill appreciation & values, awareness, knowledge and skills that will enable (protégé) members to effectively interact and work cross-culturally.

 

The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program’s Core Objectives Are:

 

  • To groom future corporate, business and civic leaders via the application of comprehensive training, educational development, skill assessment, self awareness, experiential engagement, character refinement and real-world preparedness.

 

  • To groom future corporate, business and civic leaders that have the capacity to 1. Value Diversity 2. Manage the dynamics of differences 3. Acquire and institutionalize cultural knowledge 4. Positively adapt to Diversity and interact with people cross-culturally and 5. Encompass the ability to respond respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, classes, races, ethnic backgrounds and orientations.

 

  • To groom future corporate, business and civic leaders that will positively impact the corporate and business culture- globally.

 

 

The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program mentors and advisors are drawn from a wide-range of cultural backgrounds and professional industry areas and are leaders, who possess the experience and professional dynamics to effectively counsel, guide and inspire future generations to achieve success.

 

The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program student protégés are high achieving honor-roll college students- ranging from college freshmen to graduate level students, who consistently demonstrate superior leadership qualities through scholastic performance, extracurricular activities and community involvement.
